‘After years of working for a large organisation, I thought it was time for a change. I started looking for a smaller company with more room for personal contribution and autonomy. That’s how I ended up at TerraIndex in 2002.

At TerraIndex I am responsible for support & service. In addition, I am involved in testing, sales, administration and debtor control. I’ve actually had a lot of different roles.’

‘I think people prefer to do business with people. So I want to keep it personal. We’re not just a supplier, we’re a partner. A colleague, in fact. Contact is informal and remains fun.

Customers contact us for a variety of reasons. With questions about the software, but also to alert us about, for example, changes within laws and regulations. Together with our customers, we constantly look at their survey and processes. In this way, we identify possible areas for improvement.

Contact is usually done via e-mail or the contact form. This way we can better structure the work and put the question or suggestion directly to the right person. Compliments we get from customers are printed on tiles and hung on the wall. Because satisfied customers is what motivates us daily to do what we do.’

‘Within the team, everyone has his or her own responsibility, but then we do everything together. I feel responsible for support & service. I make sure that the work is done and that customers stay informed. But it the end you’ll have to get the job done as a team!’

‘Fortunately, having fun is very important at TerraIndex. We work hard, so we can fully enjoy the good times too. At the end of each sprint, we always have drinks. We organize games and have a table football,  ping-pong table and Playstation at the office. There are always tasty lunches and on Fridays we often go bouldering. In addition, we also regularly have outings or business activities to have fun together!’

‘Here, you really get the space to do what you do best. That is the main reason for me to work at TerraIndex. We are all involved in it together. Everyone is important and has influence within the company. The working atmosphere is good and it’s just fun to work at TerraIndex. At which other company do you end up for three days on a vineyard in France for a work meeting?’
